Hello Everyone,
My name is Alison Ryan, and I am the new CEO of Cork CIL since Pat Beirne’s retirement last month.
A bit about myself, since 1996 I have worked in a range of organisations which included Abode, National Learning Network, Headway Ireland, Disability Federation of Ireland and the Health Service Executive (HSE). I have also in the past been on a few boards, including Cork CIL when it started in 1996, Citizens Information Phone Service, and the National Disability Authority. I am married and have one child. I am a girls soccer coach and referee.
I hope that I can continue the work that the organisation has done to date with Pat Beirne’s strong leadership and build on that work to ensure that Cork CIL continues to develop and support the vision that disabled people can live a full life of their choosing.
I look forward to meeting everyone over the next number of months.
