On Feirm Ground 2 programme launches for training of agri professionals

On Feirm Ground 2 is an expanded programme to raise awareness and support farmers’ health and wellbeing.  It was launched at the National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska. The On Feirm Ground 2 programme is an initiative that brings together the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Health and HSE Health and Wellbeing in the funding of a training programme for agricultural professionals to engage with farmers on their health and wellbeing.

3,600 Free books given to patients in hospitals

On the 22nd of September the Read Mór ‘Book Doctors’ and their teams gave 3,600 free books from their Library Trolleys as they visited the wards and public spaces in 7 hospitals across Ireland
