DFI will be offering a six-week workshop series on Community Based Self-Advocacy & Mental Wellbeing for disabled people in Cork. The workshop will be offered online and will be delivered by myself. My name is Áine O’Sullivan and I work with DFI as a Community Development Officer.
Workshop Content
The workshop content will cover some key areas including:

- Wellbeing
- Social Justice and Human Rights

The workshop series is suitable for anyone who is interested in improving their ability to speak up for themselves and have their voice heard. It is also useful for people who would like to learn more about themselves, meet new people and improve their confidence. Participants will get an understanding of self-care, and the 5 Ways to Wellbeing.
