Cork CIL are recruiting Personal Assistants (Healthcare Workers) across Cork City and suburbs. Sessions are available afternoons, nights and mornings, with some weekend sessions also.

We have excellent terms and conditions for our staff

  • €16.34 to €21.13 per hour
  • Premia payment for antisocial hours worked after 8.00pm
  • Double time on Sundays and public holidays
  • Paid mileage for work-related travel

Personal Assistant / Healthcare Worker

Part-time roles across South Lee — including areas across Cork City & suburbs, Douglas, Carrigaline, Bandon, Kinsale and Macroom.

You will support service users in their own homes and communities. The work is varied and personal — no two days are the same.

  • Intimate personal care support
  • Assistance with daily activities such as cooking and shopping
  • Support for social engagement and community life

Flexible hours to suit you

We can build a schedule that combines several short sessions across the day or week, working around family commitments. Early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends are all available.

What you'll get

What you'll need

  • QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification (or equivalent / in progress)
  • Minimum 150 hours or 6 months care experience
  • Patient moving and manual handling experience (preferred)
  • Garda vetting (we arrange this)
